  • Retirement

    Today we say goodbye to Dave Evans who is retiring after 12 years at Alstons.
    Dave has been one of our trusty and well thought of Maintenance Engineer’s and we would like to thank Dave for his hard work and dedication to the job and the Company.

    We wish you a long and happy retirement. You will be missed by all, however we know that Mrs Evans has a long list of jobs for you to do………………………

  • The Furniture Show 2017

    Between the 22 - 25 January 2017, Alstons were pleased to attend the Furniture Show at the NEC, where we launched our new products - Stockholm and Lowry.

  • Charity Overview

    In 2016 Alston employees got on board to donate to many worthwhile causes. 

    The staff nominated their chosen charities to receive the proceeds from the events.



  • Autumn 2016 shows

    This week has seen the Longpoint, Southwest and AIS Bed show, with our last show of the year being Minerva on the 11th and 12th October.

    We launched our new Aviator collection at these shows which consist of the Hawk, Spitfire and Lancaster.



  • Award winners again! AIS Supplier of the Year

    Alstons yet again surpass themselves in terms of service and value for money, winning the prestigious AIS 2015 Supplier of the Year Award.

  • Over 350 interchangeable fabrics

    As we continue to widen our offer, we are pleased to confirm that we are removing the surcharge for interchanging fabrics from one model to another.

    With effect from 1st March 2016 you will be able to select any plain/floral fabric from any pattern swatch you display. This could total over 350 fabrics which can be used on every model across our entire collection, with no extra charge.

    Please note we are still unable to interchange matched fabrics such as a medallions, plaids and stripes. But if you have a query, please feel free to get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.



  • Good Luck Kieran Reid

    We would like to say farewell to Kieran Reid who has spent the last 12 months with us, working in the Design and Development Department.

    Kieran, is studying for a BA in Product Design at Nottingham Trent University, and as part of the four year course, is required to spend a year on an industrial placement.

    We would like to thank Kieran for everything he has done over the past year, his contribution and involvement within the Development Department will be sorely missed.

    Kieran returns to Nottingham in September to complete the final year of his Degree and we would all like to take this opportunity to wish him every success for the future.



  • Happy Retirement

    After 35 years and 8 months, Michael Bozier, Wood Machinist retired from Alstons.

    We would like to wish Michael a very happy retirement and all the best for the future.
